Holiday Mail for Heroes
Put a smile on the face of one of our brave servicemen and women this year by sending them a Christmas card. Holiday Mail for Heroes is a partnership between the American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes to deliver one million holiday cards to American service members, veterans and their families in the United States and around the world. All cards must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Cards sent after this date will be returned to sender. More Precious Than Silver
The Hospitality Committee invites you to our Annual Christmas Banquet on Sunday, December 7th, following the morning service. Come celebrate the Most Precious Gift of the Season, The Birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. There are sign up sheets in the foyer. Make sure to sign up by December 2nd so that the Hospitality Committee can have an accurate count as to how many are attending. We look forward to a wonderful time of fellowship and celebration with you!

Secret Sister Kickoff
The new year is about to begin for the Secret Sister program. It runs from December to December This year's kickoff is coffee and dessert on Tuesday, December 16th. Information forms were in the bulletin and in the foyer to fill out to let your Sister know all about you. Forms were due by November 23rd and a Sister assigned to you by November 30th. If you haven't been assigned a sister, would still like to participate or have any questions see Carolyn Perks.

New Class for Children On Wednesdays
For children ages 4 years to 4th grade, a special class during Prayer Meeting has been formed just for you! Each Wednesday evening, Carolyn Justice is leading the children in an age-appropriate Bible lesson, prayer time, etc.. This is a great opportunity for the parents to attend Prayer AXIS while the children attend their class, too. Join us each week at 6 PM. We would love to have you!

Please make note of the change in the way Campbell's Labels are to be submitted: only the bar code portion of the label is needed. (except those requiring the lid). There's a collection tin on the Missions cabinet in the foyer. An updated list of eligible products is available at www.labelsforeducation.com or on the Missions cabinet. Used Ink Cartridges
A box is located in the foyer to put used ink cartridges in. Any type cartridge is accepted. The money earned will go to the youth group. Let's help out Pastor Sam and the youth!
